Tribute to the lost World Trade Center and the innocent victims

In 1983, my wife Lona and I took one of our trips to New York City.  We decided to watch the sunset from the top of the south tower of the World Trade Center.  As darkness descended, we stayed on top to view the lights of the city far below.  This week as I watched in horror the loss of these magnificant structures and so many innocent people, I felt compelled to find some slides I had taken from the roof and scan them to send out as a memorial to what we have lost.  My last picture was a very difficult telephoto shot of the illuminated Statue of Liberty out in the darkness of New York Harbor.  How fitting to see Lady Liberty shining out from the darkness as a symbol that the forces of darkness can not extinguish our shining liberty.
